The Autoridade Nacional do Petróleo (ANP) is a public institution of Timor-Leste, established under Decree-Law No. 62/2023.
It is responsible for managing and regulating petroleum activities both onshore and offshore, including in the Greater Sunrise Special Regime. Its mandate covers areas such as Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), hydrogen and synthetic fuel production and transport, in line with national laws and treaties.
