On February 22, 2025, the Autoridade Nacional do Petróleo – Timor-Leste (ANP I.P.) team, led by President ANP, Mr. Gualdino do Carmo da Silva, visited CALTECH’s material recovery facility in Beduku. This visit aimed to strengthen ties with a successful business group in Timor-Leste’s project management sector. It fostered collaboration and insight exchange between ANP and CALTECH, focusing on improving waste management and preparing CALTECH for future projects.
The Owner, Co-founder, and Advisor of Caltech Group Timor-Leste, Mrs. Sheilla de Caldas, along with Group General Manager, Mr. Andy Jacob, guided the ANP team on a tour of the factory. They provided a comprehensive overview of the facility, showcasing the waste separation process that includes sorting plastics, glass, wheels, and general waste. They also introduced various recycling solutions, including Triplex Type 3, which categorized into Industrial Marine and Premium Triplex Circular which environmentally friendly, durable materials used for project needs.
This factory visit occurred following a courtesy meeting held on Friday, February 21, 2024. During the meeting, Mrs. Sheilla Caldas, Mr. Jean Vezina, Co-Founder and CEO of Caltech, and Mr. Gualdino da Silva, President of ANP, exchanging ideas on waste management.
