ANP Conduted Workshop on Downstream Legal Framework in all Teritory
The Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo-ANP through Downstream Directorate conducted a one-day workshop to disseminate the Downstream Legal Framework to the local authorities in Covalima Municipality. This workshop is the continuetion of the workshop which held in East Region with the objective to increase the awareness of the local authorities on Downstream activity and to strengthen coordination between the ANP and the local authority in the regulation of Downstream Activities, particularly the Retail Fuel Filling Stations (FFS). ANP and ANM Signed Memorandum of Understanding on Drafting the Decree-Law for Employment in Extractive Industry
On Wednesday, 26 March 2025; The President of Autoridade Nacional do Petroleo-ANP,I.P., Gualdino da Carmo da Silva and the President of Autoridade Nacional dos Minerais-ANM, I.P., Rafael Danilson de Araujo, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the cooperation for drafting the Decree-Law for Employment in Extractive Industry. The aim of this MoU is to create a working group for managing and coordinating the entire process associated with the developing a draft Decree-Law.

On March 21st, 2025, the Autoridade Nacional do Petróleo, I.P. (ANP) hosted a workshop at City 8 Manleuana, Dili, bringing together representatives from various governmental agencies. This event, designed to facilitate the sharing of legal and administrative information, concentrated on oil and gas exploration activities within the onshore territory of Timor-Leste for PSC TL-OT-22-22 which cover municipality Viqueque. The workshop was a platform for HTS Exploration Ltd, the operator for Contract Area PSC TL-OT-22-22.
