On 2 August 2018, the Downstream Directorate conducted a half day workshop on Regulation No. 2/2016 on Fuel, Biofuel and Lubricant Trading Activity.  This workshop was aimed to disseminate the licensing requirements for Trading activity and the import/export applications. The fuel quality control system was also introduced during the workshop.

All licensed Trading companies (LPG, Asphalt, Aviation Fuel, Lubricant, Gasoline and Diesel Importers) were invited to this workshop including companies who wishing to obtain Trading License. This workshop was successfully held and 47 companies out of 57 companies attended the workshop which was held at Ministry of Finance Building, Aitarak Laran Dili.

This activity was initiated considering the number of the Licensed Trading companies and the new companies wishing to obtain Trading License.

The information delivered during the workshop would guide the Traders in the performance of their activity thus to ensure the compliance with the rules and requirement of the Regulation. end
